I've gone home! My name is Max and I was at the shelter a long time. Folks really, really loved me but I was not as fond of having other dogs as close friends so it was more challenging for me to find a home. Goods news for me is that a rescue spoke up for me and Bridge Boarding kept me safe til I could transport. Today, I have a new mom, Christiana and we are enjoying each other in Virginia. Life is good!
When our person died, we stood at our front door waiting for her to come on home. Sadly, Mom Cecilia never reappeared. Thanks to Bridge Boarding, we were kept safe until our new mom, Tracy could make arrangements in upstate NY for us to come on up and settle into our new home! Curiously, our mom used to live in Darlington and saw our Facebook plea asking for a new home.
My name is Cricket and I am finally home. I was found as a rail thin stray Fall of 2018. I was in such poor shape that I would not have made it at the shelter so Bridge Boarding took me in. Fast forward to Spring 2019 and a rescue accepted me into their program. In August 2019, I found myself tucked into my new home! I have 2 young kids to watch over and a mom and dad who adore me. I never dreamed of such a wonderful life and now, here I am living it!
I'm such a goof but sadly, I went unnoticed at the shelter for a very long time. Before I knew it, my name was on an urgent list. I had run out of time. Luckily for me, a rescue spoke up for me on the condition that I first be treated for heartworms. Bridge opened its doors to me while I underwent this procedure and then off I went to my rescue in the Mid Atlantic. I am now in the exciting process of interviewing for my new full time pet position!
Who would have thought a handsome brown dog such as myself would have such a tough time at finding a home?? Well, I was living that nightmare for several months before a rescue spotted me on an urgent list and saved me. The rescue did not have an immediately spot for me so I was able to move into Bridge for a short period of time til space was available. Today, I have a pointer girlfriend, Curie and the BEST pet job, ever!
Can you tell I am a tri-pod? Found roadside believed to have been hit by a car, I was rushed to the ER vet where sadly my leg could not be saved but my life was saved. Bridge was instrumental in affording me a quiet, well staffed facility where I could recover and literally get back on my feet. Today, I am at my rescue, attending fun off site events and hoping soon to meet my new family. I'm here today because of Bridge Boarding.
